This was the finished project. A tall, sturdy, and stately snowman. However, today our snowman has been reduced to one small stump in the front yard. Julianna has been highly intrigued with the changes its made over the past two weeks. At first, every time the hat fell or an eye popped off she would yell, "Mommy! Snowman hat fell off. Help it. I help it!" Then we would bundle up or stop on the way to the car to help the snowman. Though, as the days passed she seemed to accept that our snowman was changing and it was just better to enjoy him for as long as she could.
We are going to have some big changes coming up in the next six months. I will be posting on that soon, right now it's just not time. Right now it's time to enjoy where we are in the moment and take the changes as they come.
