After looking high and low for the perfect house. Open house after open house. Sunday afternoon after Sunday afternoon. We came to a decision. Chad and I want to build our own home. We want to pick out every last detail from hinges to window pane lines to carpet to wood flooring to shingle color and more. So last week we took a leap (after many hours of conversations, lists, meetings with the builders, trips to the neighborhood, and internet searches). We are THRILLED about this whole process. We are sure to hit some bumps along the way. But, we're mostly excited about this opportunity and right now we're just enjoying it's journey. Updates to follow. : )
