My Girl is Seven

My lovely girl is seven.  She is the perfect balance of smarts and beauty, sporty and feminine, and one of the best, most loyal friends you could have.  Jules is truly kind and thoughtful to the hearts of others.  She's a doer and rarely sits still or sleeps in.  She loves her family, cherishes time with her friends, prays the most innocent and pure and perfect prayers, and is a joy in our lives every day.  Julianna is such a gift to us.  I am so thankful I get to be her mom in this life.  : )

Lining up for the book character parade...

Class picture and party

The book she read in September and the inspiration for her book character costume.  (Jules looooves this series.  She is such a biography type of girl just like her Aunt Jackie.)

Sacagawea & Pomp

Ever since her dad told her of his Native American roots (I am still not sure if this is family folklore or whatnot), Julianna has been fascinated with all things Native American.  We came across this book series over the summer and Jules was instantly drawn to this one book in particular.  (So far she's read Harriet Tubman, Sacagawea, Abraham Lincoln, and she has her eye on Amelia Earhart.)  It was a natural choice for her character parade and for Halloween.
