Memorial Day Trip to the Midwest

About a month ago, we made our way to a new state and a new town.  Dad has taken up residency as the big cheese at a new university.  We were excited to see their new digs and to spend some quality time with the family (minus my little bro.  love ya and missed ya bubba!).  We checked out all the neat little things the new place has to offer like a perfect little zoo, playgrounds, duck ponds, running trails, children's museum, and church.  We had wonderful weather, played games, traded shoulder rubs, grilled, walked dogs and loved every minute of it.  Thanks to dad, mom, and Uncle Dicky for hosting us!

I mean, have you ever seen a little girl throw herself into a round of hopscotch like this?
That is effort right there!

Momma gets in on the fun.  Let it be known, she schools the competition.  : )

Inches away from my victory.

Then these two showed up and it was a PAR-TAY!  : )
